Tom Dixon is known to be a restless innovator who rose to the spotlight in the mid-80s as an individualist, new designer with a line in welded salvage furniture. Whilst working with the Italian famous Cappellini, Tom Dixon designed the widely famous ‘S’ chair. By the late 90s, he became the Creative Director at Habitat, bringing new life to the brand, while maintaining Terence Conran‘s vision of enriching everyday life through simple and modern design.
