2 – Maison et Objet 2023 Guide

Each year, the event hosts a unique inspirational theme, and this time around will be “In The City”. Vincent Grégoire of NellyRodi will once again be in charge of this highly inspiring space. The designer has analysed the most recent consumer trends and sociological phenomena and encapsulated them in a theme that appears to be humorous but actually takes the re-emergence of Molière’s country on the international stage seriously. Everything about Fra, according to Vincent Grégoire of NellyRodi, has a certain je ne sais quoi — that indescribable Gallic quality that exudes an easy allure, an effortlessly chic, and a distinct sense of style.

For many years, France has been regarded as a global centre for the arts, fashion, design, and lifestyle. It is simply the pinnacle of elegance for many. Grégoire attributes the country’s resurgence to several factors. Petites Maisons are a group of smaller companies that are reinterpreting traditional savoir-faire with product lines that are inventive and exclusive. There has also emerged a “nouvelle vague” of multiculturally influenced creatives. They shake up traditional French chic by incorporating influences from other cultures in a new fusion and mix-and-match mood.
