Miniforms was born in Meolo, a small town near Venice. It was in 1967 when Luigi Bardini, the company founder, focused on the production of the coffee table. Later on, Miniforms started to make furniture, testing new materials and technologies. In 2009, Luigi Bardini transferred the company to his sons Alessandro, Matteo and Mario, who refined who Miniforms is today.
Miniforms believe that elegance is no more a dark and boring aesthetic, but a colourful and vibrant attitude. So, every product has a strong and iconic appeal and it’s available in many finishes. Every object interacts to convey enthusiasm and lightness, with a touch of significant everyday elegance.

Rushes from the canna indica plant were woven in a checkered pattern between the wooden frame, which is available in ash or oak. The chair takes about an hour and a half to complete, with two makers work on the rushing simultaneously, passing the material back and forth.
Pelleossa Chair‘s weave is built up with a rapid and regular rhythm. This traditional method creates a chair that will last for decades. Pelleossa is also available in a version with armrests or as a simple stool.
