In 1993, Barneys bought his collection of pots, and five years later, he opened his first store in Soho. Jonathan’s desire to design all the bits one needs to create a flawlessly chic home led to more and more. Today, Jonathan Adler is a design company with retail locations worldwide, a thriving e-commerce site, a full slate of residential and commercial projects, and a wholesale business boasting over 1,000 locations globally.

BACHARACH SWIVEL CHAIR

Think Halston, think Studio 54, think sybaritic style. But also think cozy, comfy swivel chair. Luxurious blush Como Champagne velvet atop an architectural brushed brass swivel base.

BAXTER CHAIR WITH BULLION FRINGE

The Baxter T-Arm Chair melds tufted comfort and clean lines. The cutback t-arm shape is magic—it balances the formality of a high-back chair with the invitingness of a more casual, less-closed in low-armed seat. Très luxe in a living room or a comfortable, chic addition to any modern library or study.

ULTRA LOUNGE CHAIR

Ultra Lounge Chair goes POP in limited-edition black and white Milano patterned upholstery. This graphic and glamorous armchair is generously scaled and expertly pitched atop polished brass legs. A nod to Italian Modernism, a hint of Space Age futurism, a jolt of electric pattern. Chic enough for the most tailored interior, but comfy enough for curling up with a book or bingeing hours of Netflix.

MILANO WING CHAIR

A sculptural exploration of the classic wingback chair. With a sinuous silhouette, low plush seat, and cocooning back finished with a tucked detail to create the perfect headrest—Milano Wing Chair channels the haute fashion of its glamorous namesake, while sea-inspired Bergamo Aegean velvet brings a cool, breezy edge. Elegant, comfy, and timeless: this chair hits all the right notes.

GOLDFINGER LOUNGE CHAIR

Pared down geometry in polished brass meets swanky Rialto Navy velvet. The perfectly pitched seat and soft, button-tufted cushions make this rigorously minimal seat surprisingly cozy and comfy. The definition of leaned-back luxury—a little bit ’70s, a lot today. Goldfinger Lounge Chair adds a modernist vibe to your Park Ave pad or swanks up your mid-century abode.

ETHER CHAIR

Ether Chair packs a powerful punch. The Minimalist gesture of the capsule-inspired silhouette provides surprising comfort, while gleaming brass stiletto legs add lift and polish fit for a formal parlor. Elegant and exceptionally hardworking velvet (in Bergamo Ice or Rialto Emerald) finishes off the fabulousness.

BEAUMONT LOUNGE CHAIR

Minimalist rigor meets cocoon-y comfort. Beaumont collection’s architectural yet airy bases are juxtaposed with silhouettes softened by sculptural flair. Balance and geometry get a glamorous lift from shiny polished brass and luxe Olympus Ivory bouclé.

THEBES LOUNGE CHAIR

Inspired by Thebes stools, beloved by everyone from Egyptian pharaohs to Liberty of London, Thebes Lounge Chair is a modern take on a decorating classic. An architectural brass frame with signature Thebes spokes supports an expertly pitched and spacious seat woven from strips of hardworking black leather and topped with a removable cushion.
