Starting with an innovative, weatherproof synthetic fibre, the company set to create a new kind of outdoor furniture which combined with modern technology results in luxurious hand-crafted products.
Having revolutionised the outdoor furniture business, Dedon continues to set the standard for quality, artistry, innovation and design. In 2009, Dedon gains representation in more than 80 countries, with world-renowned designers such as Jean-Marie Massaud and Phillippe Starck adding award-winning collections to Dedon’s portfolio.

Dedon works exclusively with the master craftspeople of Cebu Island, Philippines, whose world-renowned weaving skills help set Dedon apart. At their furniture production facilities in the Philippines, they subject every item of the handwoven product to 16 quality assurance tests, including four at the end of production, each lasting 15 to 20 minutes.
